Stacey Dixon earned her Masters in Forest Resources from the University of Washington and subsequently worked as the Forest Manager for the University of Washington’s Center for Sustainable Forestry at Pack Forest. She holds a BS in Society and Environment and a minor in Forestry from the University of California, Berkeley. She was born in Fort Bragg, California and grew up in a coastal redwood forest.
What do you like about living in the Pacific Northwest?
I love the dramatic landscapes, the clean air and the people. I also like that there are ample outdoor swimming spots.
Why do you work here (at the District)?
I aim to make a meaningful contribution to reaching the forest health and stewardship goals of the Pacific Northwest.

I once lived in a room with 24 other people, I'm a trained ballerina, and I enjoy whitewater rafting.
