What do you like about living in the Pacific Northwest?
The big trees! The forests here are so dense, you can get lost in them for hours. It’s like stepping back in time to a primordial rainforest.
Why do you work here (at the District)?
I work here because I am passionate about bringing children into nature and developing a responsible and conscientious generation of future environmentalists.
Bonus fact(s)!
I once found myself as the caretaker of nearly 100 Australian Spiny Stick Insects, and am now an expert stick insect terrarium architect.
