What do you like about living in the Pacific Northwest?
I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and have always admired its beauty. I am fortunate to be able to show my children the great variety of landscapes this state holds.
Why do you work here (at the District)?
I work at the District because I believe in the mission—and I get to do that work alongside an incredible team. Everyone here genuinely cares about making a difference, and that kind of energy is contagious. It’s really rewarding to be part of something that supports our community and the environment, and to do it with people who show up every day because they believe in the work.
Bonus Fact(s)!
I’ve never been a gardener, but the District has inspired me to give it a try. This spring, I’m starting a vegetable garden with my two kids—wish us luck!
