He most recently was working with Watershed Management Group in Tucson, AZ, where he was a project manager, leading efforts to restore shallow groundwater areas, and create urban habitat through rain gardens.

What do you like about living in the Pacific Northwest?

I’ve been living in deserts of one variety or another for many years before coming to Washington, so I have a strong appreciation for water, and I am very excited for snow!

Why do you work here (at the District)?

I work at the district because I think that restoration and conservation are a collaborative process that need to take into account intersecting land uses and disciplines. SCD makes sure to take into account all these factors while still striving to improve the ecological function of our district.
