What do you like about living in the Pacific Northwest?

I love our conifers and how they can be green all year. That being said, I also really appreciate how we have so many different ecosystems just within a car ride. There is always something new to see or a new plant to identify.

Why do you work here (at the District)?

I grew up and currently live in Snohomish County. I am grateful to not only be able to explore and learn about so many different sites but also help enact positive, local change for the environment and people of the area.

Bonus fact!

  • My favorite season is spring when plants get cute, bright green new growth and the sun starts to peek through the clouds.
