Emma is Snohomish CD’s lead graphic and web designer and manages the Better Ground website for the twelve Puget Sound districts, as well as the creative media for ongoing regional projects. Emma enjoys supporting the Outreach team in all of their creative endeavors.
She was born and raised in Snohomish County and graduated from Washington State University-Everett with a B.A. in Integrated Strategic Communication. She comes from a background of journalism and digital marketing, and helped develop a business and marketing case for an electric coral reef system as a Boeing Scholar.
What do you like about living in the Pacific Northwest?
There’s a world of opportunity out here. Whether you’re looking for plains or mountains, oceanic views or scenic waterfalls, it’s there.
Why do you work here (at the District)?
I love storytelling and being a part of something greater than myself. The mission here is pretty dang cool. Essentially, I get to give part of my day to something I truly believe in and care about. Talk about a dream job.
