Growing, processing, and distributing food locally increases our food security and creates jobs in our community. By supporting local farms we help sustain our local agriculture businesses.

Washington Food & Farm Finder

The Eat Local First Collaborative has merged different online farm finder tools into one comprehensive, easy-to-use, Washington food and farm map. You can use the map to find food and other agricultural products that are grown, caught, raised, or made in Washington State. Plus, you can broaden the search to identify restaurants, markets, and other food businesses that purchase from local food producers!

Farmers Market Nutrition Program

The Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) provides low-income families and seniors with special checks that can only be spent at farmers markets and designated farm stands. FMNP is really two programs in one. There is a program for Women and Infant Children (WIC) and one for seniors.

Food Access at Farmers Markets

Many farmers markets across Washington accept SNAP EBT, WIC and Senior FMNP vouchers, and offer fruit and vegetable incentives (also called “SNAP Market Match”) for shopping at the farmers market.
