Youth Art Contest Drawing Local Competition

For 32 years, the Snohomish Conservation District has been running an annual native plant conservation sale, where we sell bare root plants and live stakes, native to Washington, to homeowners and landowners. This year, for our 33rd annual plant sale, we've taken an artistic turn. We have invited students from around Snohomish County and Camano Island to submit art that features our 2018 theme of pollinators.

The Lake Stevens School District has taken this on across all age groups and asked if we could do a video that explains what we do as a conservation district and why pollinators are so important.

Here is the result:

Thanks to the fast and hard work of Kristin Marshall, Kailyn Wentz and Laura Goff for getting this done so quickly. We hope it inspires creative art!
