Want to Build A Rain Arbor?

Artist needed for the commission of a rain arbor in Bay View, Washington

The Snohomish Conservation District Recently completed construction of a rain garden at Bay View Methodist Church outside of Mount Vernon Washington.

The plans for the rain garden include the construction of a “rain arbor” between the existing gutter system and the rain garden. This will be a wood structure that will transport water from the gutter, across the top of the arbor, and then down a rain chain and into the rain garden.

This project needs the artistic touch of an experienced carpenter. The arbor will have to be constructed to function well, but also look attractive and match the aesthetic of the existing church building.

If you are interested in being commissioned for this type of project please contact Derek Hann with the Snohomish Conservation District at 425-377-7012 or derek@snohomishcd.org.
