39th Annual Plant Sale Is A Wrap

Yes, you read the title correctly. We’ve done almost 40 years of plant sales, and 2024 was the best one yet! If you ordered this year, you were part of almost 2,000 people that… wait for it…. ordered 55,000 plants!

On average, that’s almost 30 plants per person.

Your NW native plant sale just gets better every year! The vendors were great, we appreciated being able to buy coffee at one of the food trucks and my plants were packaged and labeled with great care! Here’s to happy planting in 2024!

We were joined this year by WSU Extension Forestry and WSU Extension Master Gardeners, Bats Northwest, and Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife’s Habitat at Home program. We also tried something new with adding food vendors for hungry attendees! Thank you to Scotsman Espresso and Maria’s Mexican Food Truck for joining in on the fun.

We brought back our walk-up sale this year, and never before have we seen such plant fanatics. Thank you!

None of this success would’ve been possible without our staff and the almost 80 incredible volunteers who, combined together, devoted 850 hours of labor and laughter in the days leading up to the sale!

Below is a snapshot of all of the work that went into prepping plant bundles and packaging orders the week before.

Thank you for the sale! I’m excited to put the plants in the ground and look forward to watching them grow! Spring is in the air!

If you weren’t able to attend or want to relive the weekend, below are photos from Saturday, March 9. We also have guidance on plant care and a list of local nurseries that you can buy additional plants from!
