SNOHOMISH CONSERVATION DISTRICT
The Snohomish Conservation District Board of Supervisors will attend a staff social event
at 5:30 PM on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Craven Farm, 13817 Short School Rd,
Snohomish, WA. No business will be discussed, and no actions will be taken. The event is
scheduled to adjourn at 8 PM.
Snohomish Conservation District to Hold Spring Election for a Board Supervisor
Looking for a volunteer opportunity to protect the environment and help people in your community? Snohomish Conservation District, a local agency that has been active in our community for 76 years, will host an election for a volunteer Board Supervisor on March 20th, 2018 from 2 PM to 6 PM at the District office, 528 91st Ave NE, Ste A, Lake Stevens, WA, 98292.
The elected position whose term expires in May 2018 is currently held by Karl Hereth. The appointed position whose term is expiring in May 2018 is currently held by Jeff Ellingsen.
The published election procedures can be viewed at the District office and are also available from the Washington State Conservation Commission at http://scc.wa.gov/. Contact Election Supervisor Lois Ruskell at 425-377-7020 for more information. Absentee ballots can be requested from the District before 3PM, February 27, 2018 and must be returned by 6 PM March 20th, 2018. See more election details in the PDF below.

To vote in an SCD election, you must:
- Be a qualified elector of Snohomish or Island County and
- Occupy land as an owner, lessee, renter, or tenant lying within the Snohomish Conservation District, which includes all of unincorporated Snohomish County, Camano Island, and the following cities that have requested to be in the District or were incorporated after the District was formed: Arlington, Brier, Lake Stevens, Lynnwood, Mill Creek, Mountlake Terrace, Mukilteo, Snohomish, Stanwood, and Woodway.
