Notice of the Intent to Adopt an Election Resolution

by Snohomish Conservation District

The Snohomish Conservation District Board of Supervisors will hold a meeting at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at the District office, 528 91st Ave NE, Lake Stevens, WA, to adopt a resolution setting the date, time, manner and location of an election to fill an Elected and Appointed Conservation District Supervisor’s expiring terms (WAC 135-110-220). Future election information will be posted ONLY on the District’s web site at www.snohomishcd.org.

Election Information

** For information on the SCD Supervisor election, or to nominate a person for the three-year, volunteer term, please contact the SCD Election Official, Lois Ruskell, at 425-377-7020.

If you are interested in running for the SCD Board of Supervisors, you may download the “Conservation District Candidates - Guide to Elections.”

To vote in an SCD election, you must:

  1. Be a qualified elector of Snohomish or Island County and

  2. Occupy land as an owner, lessee, renter, or tenant lying within the Snohomish Conservation District, which includes all of unincorporated Snohomish County, Camano Island, and the following cities that have requested to be in the District or were incorporated after the District was formed: Arlington, Brier, Lake Stevens, Lynnwood, Mill Creek, Mountlake Terrace, Mukilteo, Snohomish, Stanwood, and Woodway.
