7th Annual Orca Recovery Day a Rainy Success

On Saturday, October 19, we celebrated Orca Recovery Day at beautiful Skykomish River Park. In spite of the rainy weather, over 50 people joined in for a day of family fun.

Volunteers of all ages put in the work to install over 75 native plants at the park! These trees and shrubs will help filter stormwater and improve the water quality of the nearby Skykomish River. Visitors also enjoyed food and coffee from local food trucks GoodBelly and Downpour Espresso.

Thank you to the partner organizations who joined us in offering educational activities and games!
