What do you like about living in the Pacific Northwest?
I am in awe of the natural beauty of this place. To get to be so close to mountains and to the Sound is such a joy, and I look forward to spending lots of time outside in the woods.
Why do you work here (at the District)?
I am passionate about strengthening connections between people and the land, and I believe that sustainable agriculture is one of the best ways to promote this mutual thriving. I am grateful to be working here at the District because of the opportunities to work closely with farmers and land managers to improve outcomes both for producers and for the land itself.
Bonus fact!
I enjoy yoga, evening walks, and riding my bike. I recently did a 10-day silent meditation retreat.
