What do you like about living in the Pacific Northwest?

I first fell in love with the Pacific Northwest on a road trip in my early 20s! Being surrounded by the mountains, lakes, ocean and everything in between has brought us so many opportunities to explore nature with our kids and appreciate the natural beauty we are so thankful to enjoy.

Why do you work here (at the District)?

The Snohomish Conservation District serves a vital role to stewarding our lands and conserving its natural resources. Being a part of the team that makes a difference in our community and gives me the opportunity to assist the public in caretaking for our beautiful land is very fulfilling.

Bonus fact!

  • I have 3 polish chickens named after The Golden Girls: Sophia, Blanche, and Dorothy!

  • My family and I enjoy making homemade sparkling cider and hard cider from our apple and pear trees every year.
