What do you like about living in the Pacific Northwest?

I love so much about living in the PNW. In particular, I enjoy the lush, green forests and the many wonders they share when I spend time exploring them. I am a big fan of rain and the fact that we have seasons, but none are too extreme. I love our proximity to the mountains, the ocean, and the wide variety of ecosystems that exist in between.

Why do you work here (at the District)?

I work here because this job offers the unique opportunity to blend my passion for education with my passion for conservation and agriculture. I am excited to be able to share my enthusiasm with students through our work here at the District.

Bonus facts!

  • I lived in Belgium for a year.

  • I was once stalked by a mountain lion.
