Wow. That was sure a lot of wonderful energy at the Plant Sale and pickup. Everybody had a delightful smile and a great spirit. It is as if amongst all those plants and the work done to get them there, we just couldn’t help but smile about it all. Thank you for being there.

Some of the district staff and volunteers who helped make this year’s plant sale a success.

We celebrated our 40th Annual Plant Sale in early March with over 40,000 plants sold! We welcomed over 1,200 visitors who came to pick up their pre-ordered plants and shop at our walk-up sale. Visitors also had the opportunity to chat with local vendors, including Bats Northwest, WSU Extension Master Gardeners, and SharinaBean’s.

The event was successful in large part due to our staff and volunteers who contributed a combined 2,298 hours to bundling and packaging plants, helping customers at the walk-up sale, and assisting with plant sale pick-ups.
