New Sound Education Program

As the school year gets underway, Snohomish Conservation District’s Youth Education Team is excited to announce the start of a new, four-part Sound Education Program for elementary school classrooms in Snohomish County and Camano Island!

Now, after completing one of our elementary lessons that you know and love, teachers can continue exploring conservation topics by signing up for a walking field trip, experiential service project, and conservation leadership symposium. We encourage classes to complete the entire series, but welcome teachers to sign up for whichever parts of the program fit with their lesson planning.

Our new Sound Education Program engages youth in local conservation efforts and prepares them to address environmental issues now and in the future. We’re excited to enroll students and help cultivate the next generation of conservation leaders!
