Perrinville Watershed / Rain Gardens in Edmonds - Webinar

On January 14, 2021, Kari Quaas and David Jackson hosted a webinar about Perrinville Watershed in the City of Edmonds. In 2020 near Sierra Park, we replaced a long drainage ditch parallel to the street of residential homes with a bioswale. A bioswale is a designed to clean and process water off a roadway. In addition, some of the homes elected to have rain gardens installed, too. Rain gardens help filter stormwater off of roofs and from the sky. The work was completed by the Veterans Conservation Corps Crew. Below you can watch the replay of the webinar as well as scroll through the slides.

If you have any questions about Perrinville Watershed, or are interested in having us out to your property to discuss a rain garden where you live, please contact David Jackson at djackson@snohomishcd.org or 425-501-9717.
