Sweet Corn Harvest 2019

Like in 2018, we did a family friendly day on Ebey Island for our volunteers and other volunteer groups organized by Jim Eichner through his Food Bank Farm. This year’s event took place on September 21 in the morning.

With about 100 volunteers, they gleaned three totes for the Everett VOA food bank, and 20 totes for the Food Lifeline food bank truck. Each tote weighs around 600 pounds. So, if you do the quick math, that’s approximately…
