Pollinator Art Contest Winners Announced

Butterflies, bats and bees, oh my! This week, SCD staff had the pleasure of judging over a hundred art submissions from students across Snohomish County and Camano Island. The imagination, creativity, and emotion that each contestant poured into their pollinator artwork is truly impressive. This art is sure to inspire our local communities to care about pollinators.

Thank you to all of the youth who submitted artwork, and congratulations to the winners - announced below!

All entries were shown at our Plant Sale on Saturday, February 10 at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds, Commercial Building #400. After the Plant Sale, the winning pieces will first travel to The Loft Coffee Bar in Everett, and then on to other locations TBD. Our hope is to continue housing the winning art collection at various kid-friendly public spaces over the next six months to raise awareness about protecting pollinators right here in our communities.
