What do you like about living in the Pacific Northwest?

I love rainy days! I moved to the area from the Midwest and am still amazed by mountain views and tide pools.

Why do you work here (at the District)?

I'm passionate about restoring and conserving the world that I live in. The district's goal to help both the environment and the people that inhabit it really inspires me.

• I love fermenting things! It's so cool to see yeast turn flour into sourdough or bacteria make tea into kombucha.
