Snohomish Conservation District Notice of Request For Bids – Richardson Creek Bridges Replacement Project
Notice is hereby given that Snohomish Conservation District ("District" or "Owner") will receive bids for the Richardson Creek Bridges Replacement Project.
BIDS DUE: Thursday, June 14th, 2018 at 12:00 PM Pacific Time
Electronic (emailed) or hardcopy bids will be accepted. Emailed bids should be submitted to Ryan Williams (rwilliams@snohomishcd.org) with the Subject Line: “Richardson Creek Bridges Replacement Project” Hardcopy bids will be received at the offices of Snohomish Conservation District, 528 91st Ave NE, Suite A, Lake Stevens, WA 98258. The Original Bid Documents shall be delivered to the District’s office as described in the Instructions To Bidders in the bid documents.
PRE-BID MEETING: An informal meeting and site visit for interested contractors will be held on Thursday, June 7th, 2018 at 11:00 am at 21326 Woods Creek Road, Monroe, WA 98272.
ACCESS TO BID DOCUMENTS: Bid documents will be posted on Thursday, May 31st, 2018. Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List) is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and clicking on "Posted Projects", "Small Public Works Roster", and "Snohomish Conservation District". This online plan room provides Bidders with fully usable online documents with the ability to: download, view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic sources, and a free online digitizer/take-off tool. It is recommended that Bidders “Register” in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the “Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on-line plan room for addenda issued on this project. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project site is located at 21326 Woods Creek Road, Monroe, WA 98272. The project will replace two fish passage barrier crossings on private property over Richardson Creek. The project consists of the following:
- Remove two existing livestock bridges and abutments within the banks of Richardson Creek
- Install two replacement bridges consisting of precast concrete planks, concrete footings and abutments, and a cast-in-place concrete deck.
