Snohomish Conservation District Notice of Request For Bids – McKee/Topajach Bridge Project
Notice is hereby given that Snohomish Conservation District ("District" or "Owner") will receive bids for the McKee/Topajach Bridge Project.
BIDS DUE: Thursday, June 14th, 2018 at 12:00 PM Pacific Time
Electronic (emailed) or hardcopy bids will be accepted. Emailed bids should be submitted to Alex Pittman (alex@snohomishcd.org) with the Subject Line: “McKee/Topajach Bridge Project”. Hardcopy bids will be received at the offices of Snohomish Conservation District, 528 91st Ave NE, Suite A, Lake Stevens, WA 98258. The Original Bid Documents shall be delivered to the District’s office as described in the Instructions to Bidders in the bid documents.
PRE-BID MEETING: An informal meeting and site visit for interested contractors will be held on Thursday, June 7th, 2018 at 9:30 am at 19010 OK Mill Road, Snohomish, WA 98290.
ACCESS TO BID DOCUMENTS: Bid documents will be posted on Thursday, May 31st, 2018. Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List) is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and clicking on "Posted Projects", "Small Public Works Roster", and "Snohomish Conservation District". This online plan room provides Bidders with fully usable online documents with the ability to: download, view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic sources, and a free online digitizer/take-off tool. It is recommended that Bidders “Register” in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the “Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on-line plan room for addenda issued on this project. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project site is located at 19010 OK Mill Road, Snohomish, WA 98290. The project will install a livestock crossing and equipment bridge over West Fork Woods Creek. The project consists of the following:
Reconstruct the channel and banks to prepare for abutment installation
Furnish and install footings and abutments.
Install District-provided pre-manufactured bridge structure.
Construct associated road approaches for the bridge
Replace and/or relocate any established plantings and fencing as necessary;
Haul all waste material for disposal off-site
