Help us build Eagle Ridge Community Garden

This Saturday, there will be a community volunteer work party from 10am-4pm at 2420 Soper Hill Rd, Lake Stevens, WA. The Snohomish Conservation District (SCD) helped create the Eagle Ridge Garden and it is a recipient of our Lawns to Lettuce (L2L) cost share program. We highly encourage others to apply.

SCD can provide free technical assistance to community members who need help planning, developing, and progressing urban agriculture projects and programs.

Come out and see what we can do, and help get the Eagle Ridge Community Garden off on the right start. Tasks for the work party will include fence building, constructing raised beds, filling beds with soil, and sheet mulching.

Bring gloves and work boots!  We’ll provide water, snacks, lunch and tools!  We will have some extra gloves on hand as well.
