Beach Days at Camano Island

We are excited to announce that we’re partnering with the Cama Beach Foundation to host a series of free, family-friendly educational activities at Cama Beach this summer!

Come visit our Conservation Station down by the beach store and learn all about marine science and marine conservation. We’ll explore how we can help care for Cama Beach so we have a clean and healthy place to swim, fish, and play all summer long! Check out our schedule of Conservation Station events here.

If you have ideas for marine science activities you’d like to see at the Conservation Station in the future, let us know by emailing Youth Education Coordinator Alana Springer. We want to meet the needs of Cama Beach visitors and will do our best to incorporate your ideas into our schedule next summer.

But that’s not all–Snohomish Conservation District is here to serve the Camano Island community all year round! As rate-payers, Camano Island residents are encouraged to take advantage of our other free services.

Reach out to us today for information and resources about farm planning, drainage solutions and rainwater catchment, horse and livestock-keeping, conservation education, and the many other services we offer! Even if you’re worried that you might be doing something wrong, don’t hesitate to to call—we’re non-regulatory and here to help.

If you have questions or comments, please check out our website or contact us. We look forward to hearing from you and working together to care for Camano Island.
