12,000 Vegetable Starts Distributed!

Snohomish Conservation District and its partners distributed over 12,000 vegetable starts primarily to under-served areas in Snohomish County for 2019. The primary germination and maintenance of these vegetable starts was done through collaboration with our existing partnership with the Monroe High School FFA program. A large thank you is due to Jim Eichner and Terry Meyer for help with distribution as well.

These locations include: Housing Hope, City of Lynnwood, Sultan VOA, YWCA, Frank Wagner Elementary, Lake Stevens Food Bank, Renew Church, Tulalip Tribes Health Center, Snohomish Garden Club, Casino Road ECEAP, Granite Falls ECEAP, Childcare at Crossroads in Granite Falls, Crosswater Church, Concern for Neighbors Food Bank, and Red Barn Farm.
