Volunteers Needed for 31st Annual Sale

Volunteer to help bundle and sort plants in preparation of our 31st annual Native Plant Sale! For every 4 hour shift worked, volunteers will receive speciality native plants, not for sale, and exclusively available to volunteers!  Register below the details!

There are two volunteer shifts to choose from: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. AND 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Address: Evergreen State Fairgrounds, Commercial Building #400 (main parking area)

We need volunteers on the following dates: Mon. Feb. 22; Tue. Feb. 23;  and Wed. Feb. 24

**We also need a select number of volunteers to help with the day of the Plant Sale on Saturday, February, 27th.

What will Volunteers be doing exactly? During the weekdays preceding the Saturday Plant Sale, our staff are busy unloading deliveries of native plants, packaging them into bundles, and helping to bag and tag them. There are thousands of plants to sort, bundle and tag. While volunteering, you can expect to be standing at a table, handling and moving plants. The room at the Fairgrounds is unheated, and depending on the weather, it can get chilly. We recommend wearing warm layers and comfortable shoes. If you have your own gloves, please bring them. If not, no worries! We have plenty of extra gloves available to you. There will be training on site, so no special experience is necessary. We will provide light refreshments and snacks.
