In partnership with the City of Everett, we have disconnected hundreds of homes from the combined-sewer overflow in North Everett, helping to protect Puget Sound.
Rain Garden Cluster Project
The District helped to organize and install the first 7-rain garden cluster project in North Everett, which has led to dozens more installations through the City’s rebate program. The self-led tour of the rain gardens starts at 13th and Lombard in Everett.
Natural Yard Care Workshops
Natural Yard Care Series are held each spring and fall in Everett, with a wide variety of hands-on workshops, tips from top designers, and resources like WSU Master Gardener plant and bug diagnostics.
Rain Garden Training for Professionals
Each year, we help train and support landscape professionals, engineers, and other municipal staff in rain garden design, construction, and maintenance.
