Interested in renewable energy for your farm or rural small business?

Snohomish and Pierce Conservation Districts have teamed up with Spark Northwest to offer free assistance to help make renewable energy more accessible.

The Rural Energy Development for America program offers: 

  • Education about renewable energy and energy efficiency improvements.

  • Technical assistance to evaluate renewable energy options and the feasibility of switching.

  • Financial assistance for renewable energy systems and energy efficiency improvements.

How do I apply?

In order to apply, 50 percent or more of your income needs to be generated from your farm. At least 12 months of consecutive energy bills are needed from applicants. Veteran and BIPOC farmers and small business owners are strongly encouraged to apply! Transitioning to renewable energy has never been easier.
