How to Contribute to Food Security: Food
Plant A Row Initiative
Fresh, healthy food can be hard to get for some people, which is why it’s so important to donate excess fruits, vegetables, and any other edible harvest to your local food organization! Pledge to plant a row of produce to donate to your local food bank, and you’ll receive free seed packets!
Snohomish County Food Banks
Check out this map we've created that might just help you find your closest food bank. Be sure to email or call ahead, just to make sure that donation times haven't changed. We've done our best to collect the most accurate information available, but please let us know if you find any errors or have any updates. Email changes to outreach@snohomishcd.org.
The Good Samaritan Food Donation Act
If you have a garden or farm, you can donate your garden’s bounty. The Good Samaritan Food Donation Act was enacted in 1994 to encourage gardeners and gleaners to donate food and protects from civil and criminal liability.
