Celebrate the Future of Urban Street Trees

  • Henry M. Jackson Park 3302 18th St Everett, WA 98201 United States (map)

Join us for our tree planting kick-off event in the Delta Neighborhood and learn about the benefits of trees in urban spaces. Snohomish Conservation District is partnering with the City of Everett, the League of Women Voters, and residents of the Delta neighborhood to promote urban trees.

Our youth educators will be teaching about the benefits of trees in urban spaces and their place in the food web. There will be activities available to engage youth in appreciating and connecting with the trees in their neighborhood.

Trees aren’t just for the forest! In urban areas they can improve air and water quality, beautify outdoor spaces, and provide shade on sunny days. Come celebrate the first newly planted trees in the Delta neighborhood!

Please register so we know how many people to plan for!
