Join us for a tree planting, nature walk, and family-friendly activities at Strawberry Field Athletic Complex!
We’ll be learning about the benefits of riparian buffers as we plant trees along Middle Fork Quilceda Creek, how to create wildlife habitat where we live, and how our actions at home can help our Southern Resident Orcas.
We will gather at the entrance of the trail system located near the soccer fields at 9:45 am for check in. We'll have a couple of stations for tree planting, kid activities, and there will be two guided nature walks at 10:30 am and 11:30 am.
We'll have gloves for planting. Snacks and water will be provided.
Please dress for the weather. We'll be taking actions to help Orcas, rain or shine!
Kids and adults are welcome! The first 50 households will be able to reserve a native plant to take home.
Thank you to the City of Marysville and the Washington State Conservation Commission for sponsoring this event.
