Sound Horsekeeping Discussion at Cedarbrook Veterinary Care

This month the Educational Series at Cedarbrook Veterinary Care features a discussion from Snohomish Conservation District - Michael Hipp/Sound Horsekeeping

SOUND HORSEKEEPING
Whether horses are your passion or your business, you no doubt want to keep them healthy and happy! Keeping a horse is a big responsibility. Join us with Mike Hipp on a discussion to help you manage your pastures, prevent mud and manure problems, keep weeds at bay, and help make your chores more efficient!

Snohomish Conservation District has farm planners who will visit your farm for free and offer suggestions based on the goals you have for your property. In some cases, the District may even be able to help cover the cost of improvements that not only keep horses healthier, but keep our watersheds healthier too!

They can help you with:

mud and manure
pastures
stream-fencing
winter paddocks
drainage
nutrients and fertilizing
and more!

Additional information can be found at https://snohomishcd.org/sound-horsekeeping

Please contact their office for additional information and to schedule for this educational class. There is no cost to attend this lecture, however we request participants to register so we will have the appropriate amount of handouts if needed.
