The Camano Wildlife Habitat Project, sponsored by Friends of Camano Island Parks, hosts public presentations the third Wednesday of the month.

Can't make the event but interested in getting your yard certified?

Attract beautiful birds and productive pollinators to your yard while helping the Camano Wildlife Habitat Project reach their goal of 1,000 certified backyard wildlife habitats on Camano Island! Provide what wildlife need, then certify your backyard habitat with the National Wildlife Federation to be counted. You can choose from a variety of yard signs to show that you provide for the birds, butterflies, bees and bats in your yard.

Learn more about the certification process by visiting the National Wildlife Federation Backyard Habitat Certification Program website.

To connect to your local chapter- visit the Camano Wildlife Habitat Project website or call: 360-387-2236 to talk to a local representative who can help you get started!
