Everett’s Delta Neighborhood
The 2022 Delta Neighborhood Street Tree Project
The goal is to plant as many street trees as our grant funding will allow.
Neighbors doorbelled in March and April 2022, and the tree planting, if approved for your property, would take place in the fall of 2022.
The League of Women Voters of Snohomish County will provide $4,000 for the purchase of trees for the Delta Neighborhood Tree Planting Project with a grant from the Jackson Foundation. The League seeks to enhance urban tree canopy within a vulnerable population as defined by the Tree Equity Score, and to educate the public about its role in environmental stewardship.
