Grant to Help Residents

The Snohomish Conservation District has received a Department of Ecology Centennial Clean Water fund grant to work in the Miller Creek, and Pilchuck Creek, areas of north Snohomish County.

If you would like assistance with making improvements to streamside habitat, your pastures, or with your livestock facilities, the District may be able to assist. SCD can provide technical help in the form of engineering, site specific suggestions, mud and manure management guidelines, and more.

Call Ryan Williams for help with stream issues at 425-335-5634, ext 116. For help with farm management issues, call the office number, ext 4 and you will be connected with a farm planner.

Septic issues can be handled through the Snohomish County Health District. They can be reached at 425-339-5270.
