What do you like about living in the Pacific Northwest?

Living in Washington has been nice because of the diverse terrain.  We have mountains, forests, rivers, beaches, islands, and Puget Sound.  Whatever recreational activity a person is interested in, there are opportunities here.

Why do you work here (at the District)?

Short answer? Because SCD hired me.

Long answer?  Because I was interested in sustainable practices.  I wanted the opportunity to help people with stormwater issues, to show ways to improve our environment, and to show how we can achieve these goals with thoughtful design and implementation.

Bonus fact!
