What do you like about living in the Pacific Northwest?

I recently moved here from Georgia partially because of my love of the outdoors! I’m excited to get out and explore the PNW hiking, running, and camping. I’m a big fan of national parks so I can’t wait to visit the parks here in Washington. I also love flowers and can’t believe how beautiful they are here! Being able to see mountains from my office is amazing as well.

Why do you work here (at the District)?

Having a job where I get to look at bugs, play outside, and work with kids is a dream come true! I love working with the public and especially youth. I enjoy creating positive experiences for them to explore the world around them and learn about their natural resources.
