What do you like about living in the Pacific Northwest?

I enjoy being outside hunting, fishing, and swimming, the Pacific Northwest has one of the most diverse landscapes in the USA. Plus disabled veterans get free camping at all WA state parks.

Why do you work here (at the District)?

Having the opportunity to work on environmental projects has once again inspired me to help my community where the need is great. Leading the Veteran crew has brought me stability and joy, something I have been looking for ever since I left the military. This is the first job I have had that allows me to utilize my military training, education background, and construction experience.

Bonus fact!

  • I am 5 states away from finishing my tour of the United States. Hawaii, Alaska, North Dakota, New Mexico, and Maine is all that is left.
