Environmental Service Learning Opportunities

Snohomish Conservation District Staff are busy throughout the year planting trees and native plants throughout Snohomish County and Camano Island. Sometimes we have large plantings that call for volunteer help. We enjoy working with youth groups and school students to help with these projects because of the hands-on experience it provides. Our availability of projects varies throughout the year based on need and seasonal considerations. Please get in touch about working with us!

Possible Service Learning Projects:

  • Tree Plantings
  • Installing Rain Gardens
  • Storm Drain Marking
  • Invasive Species Removal
  • Rain Barrel Assembly

If we don't have an available opportunity, Sound Salmon Solutions, another great environmental agency, may have something for your group!
