Come join us for our annual Open House! Our special guest speaker will be Gifford Pinchot IV (or Marco), great grandson of Gifford Pinchot I, the first professional forester in the US and founder of the first forestry school at Yale University. The Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Northeast of Vancouver, was named after Mr. Pinchot I. His great-grandson, Marco Pinchot, works on sustainability issues for Taylor Shellfish, and teaches people about shellfish, water quality, and issues that affect the shellfish industry.
