Would you like to increase the beauty and value of your yard while also preventing flooding, providing habitat for wildlife, and reducing water pollution? Rain gardens do all of these things and more. Join us as local rain garden experts walk through the step-by-step of how to install and maintain a rain garden on your property. Experts from King and Snohomish counties will be available to answer your questions about rain gardens as well provide information about local rebate programs that help subsidize the cost of installing rain gardens.
--As this event will consist of over an hour and a half of seated presentations, it is most appropriate for those ages 14 and older.
Presented in partnership between the Snohomish Conservation District, King County, IslandWood, and WSU Extension Master Gardener Program in King County as part of the 12,000 Rain Gardens Campaign, a statewide cooperative effort to protect Puget Sound.
