Qualifications:
A Bachelors or Masters Degree in natural/environmental science, agriculture, agronomy, environmental planning, or closely related field, with course work related to hydrology, aquatic ecosystems, water quality, botany, soils, and/or agriculture operations. One to three years of experience with any combination of the following: monitoring and restoring northwest stream, wetland, estuarine, and/or near shore ecosystems, farm and resource land management is preferred. Also required is demonstrated experience and understanding of local agricultural practices, interpreting county codes, working with the public on natural resources/agricultural issues and addressing and solving resource management problems.
