Help Build A Rain Barrel and Then Buy One to Take Home For Yourself!
We are excited to have Boeing employees volunteer with us to build rain barrels for themselves and the public at these events in April near Earth Day.
Snohomish Conservation District up-cycles 55-gallon drums and converts them into rainwater harvesting tools. Rain barrels give you a ready supply of water for your garden and help reduce stormwater runoff. For more information about rain barrels visit: http://snohomishcd.org/rain-barrel-program.
Boeing volunteers will be preparing between 50 and 100 barrels per event. If you decide you want to buy a barrel, please select from the options below to pre-order your barrel. Barrels are $35 if you help build them or $50 if you just want to pick one up. There is a two barrel maximum purchase per employee.
