Interlocal Agreement with Snohomish County

Conservation District Assessments

Snohomish Conservation District boundaries include much of unincorporated Snohomish County, and Camano Island in Island County.

Conservation Districts are authorized to receive a special assessment under RCW 89.08.400.


Snohomish Assessment

The Snohomish Conservation District Board of Supervisors is proposing the reauthorization of the special assessment of $5.00 per parcel plus $.05/acre for assessed lands within Snohomish Conservation District as authorized by RCW 89.08.400. The District is providing the 5 year (2015-2020) assessment proposal and work plan (see below), and would like comments from Snohomish County landowners regarding this proposal. Island County Assessment - Camano Island

Camano Island is currently under a ten year assessment (2010-2020) for the Snohomish Conservation District to provide services including technical assistance to rural residential, farm, and forestry landowners, education and outreach, soil testing, and other natural resource-related assistance.
